This striking deep green kitchen handmade by Davonport explores combining open storage within the display shelving along with useable cupboard space. We designed the open shelving in order to keep the kitchen looking light and airy whilst using a contrast of Farrow & Ball ‘Studio Green’ for the hinged units. With statement lighting over the island by Tom Dixon, adding interest and drama as you look straight on to the open shelving display wall.
Within the utility room, as the room was quite slim, there was no need for masses of storage so to keep this as minimal as possible while trying to retain the character of the kitchen, we added a small open shelving display to hold the essential everyday products. The wall-hung towel warmer is perfect for drying smaller items without needing a large airer, taking up vital space within the room.
